Music is not isolation but it is incredibly personal which is why I'm writing this bio myself... Hi, my name is Jay and I go by the name "J-Script". I'm 24 years old from a small town in Northamptonshire, UK. I make contempory R&B music or 'Hip Pop'. Over the years I've weaved in and out of different genres and experimented with new things but have always maintained a love for personal and honest music. I released my first album in 2019 entitled Shells. This album allowed me to confront various issues and emotions within myself that had before gone unaddressed, hench the name "Shells". The album was about coming out of my shell and being honest about things that I had previously kept inside. The response to Shells has given me a hunger to further expand my catalogue. I am currently in the process of recording my second album which I plan to release in October of 2020. This latest body of work promises to be a passionate, enticing window into my world. My goal is to take you on a journey through the good and bad experiences that come with love and life. I'm inviting you to join me on my journey.
