Sky Double-R/SKY is a 21 year old rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and composer from Montreal, Canada. Even from a young age, he had strongly excelled his peers in the areas of English composition and music; he participated in the Canspell regional spelling bee at the young age of only 12, and also took classical piano lessons for eleven years. After the end of a significant relationship at the age of 16, he fell into a dark place and sought out a method in which he could use to cope with it. He decided to combine his two strongest skill sets together and began creating music with his long-time friend, and producer Joseph "JMbusines" Myschkowski. Together, they embarked on a mission to assemble a team of diverse yet talented artists, who would work together to create unique and catchy music. They were soon introduced to Kramer "Kaz" Montano through mutual friends (Kaz would later become the lead vocalist of their group) and together, the three of them began building their collective, which is today known as Kingblock Entertainment. It has since developed into a music production company and independent record label. As time goes on, SKY is in constant experimentation with his sound in order to create songs unlike any other. His combination of elements from multiple genres allows for unlimited possibilities. Through his music, he strives to inspire listeners, and provide them with an escape from the struggles of everyday life.
