Luis Mercado of Houston Texas, better known to Houston fans under his rap name SOULO aka LU-E, started writing his first verses at the age of 13. With so many musical influences coming out of his own city it would have been easy for him to copy other artists styles but as a man that thinks outside the box SOULO decided to come up with his own way of reaching fans through his lyrics. With his early mixtapes, It Is Whut It Is vol.1 & 2, he began building his fan base in his neighborhood of Spring Branch. SOULO spent a lot of time out on the streets performing at party's and clubs, promoting his music like most artists do, but now focuses his time in the studio coming up with new songs and beats for his new upcoming music. His most recent albums Vol.Trillogy and City of Dreams (wich can both be found on iTunes, Amazon mp3, Google Music Store, Spotify, iHeart, Slacker, Rhapsody, etc..) has built him a larger fan base not only around the Houston area but in other cities and countries outside the U.S. Soulo was currently working on his latest music project MisUnderstood and in the progress of shooting multiple music videos for his Youtube fans when he was incarcerated in 2016. He was released in June 2017 and has than dropped multiple music videos, the MisUnderstood project, and the Don't Let Me Go single. His next single is scheduled to drop very soon!
