Sparks Bantwana, born as Mbuso Dominique Pepu in the 1980s, is a South African music producer and DJ. His formative years were spent in Gauteng's Orange Farm, but it was his move to Durban during his teenage years that ignited his passion for music and entertainment. In 2006, Sparks Bantwana embarked on a musical journey, blending organ keys with house beats to craft a unique sound. This experiment marked the inception of his foray into music production, earning him recognition for his ability to entertain music lovers, whether through their playlists or on the dance floor. In 2012, he officially introduced himself with the single "IZIBONGO," establishing a devoted fan base in Durban. A year later, "Maw'Bhemile Khoninte Khalayo" further cemented his presence in the South African underground music scene. In 2016, he collaborated with dance music legends DJ Vetkuk & Mahoota on the track "SoHamba Ngo 7" expanded his reach, leading to appearances on national platforms. In 2019, Sparks Bantwana achieved national recognition with the hit song "Qolo Lami," featuring Dj Sox, which received extensive airplay and support from renowned artists and radio stations. Inspired by industry giants such as OSKIDO, DJ Tira, and Dj Sox, Sparks Bantwana continues to expand his career, both locally and nationally. His discography includes albums like "The Return Of Sparks Bantwana " and his latest single, "Namhlanje Askhuzeki."
