While JAG didn't start receiving mainstream attention until going viral for his emotionally captivating song Kapernick Effect, the South Central native is no stranger in the hip hop scene. JAG is finally getting the recognition he rightfully earned having worked with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign (I’m The $hit (feat. Ty Dolla $ign) , Nick Grant (The Relay (feat. Nick Grant), Dave East , KXNG Crooked, James Fauntleroy and Trey Songz (Tap In (feat. Trey Songz) to name a few. JAG has established himself as one of the best rapper/songwriters to hail from the west coast best known for his punchlines and hard hitting bars. Honing in on his song making abilities the lasr few years he's developed a diverse audience with his range and combination of classic hip hop sounds with smooth, melodic R&B vibes. 
 It's been a busy few years for the LA native releasing four projects in 2016 and his debut album Dalton Ave at the end of 2017. With a strong showing on his recent EP 2700 and booking Rolling Loud LA as an independent artist to close 2018 there is no ceiling for JAG in 2019 and beyond.
