I was born in Albania and came to London in 1999 under the title of ‘Refugee’. I faced the feeling of imposter syndrome for a while and spent a lot of time working on my accent, I was often bullied on how I sounded, being from a “foreign land”. The journey started at The University of East London where I studied Graphic Design with an emphasis on film, later finding more layers about myself during a trip in Dubai where I encountered an underground art movement. My music is an extension of my thoughts and ideas flowing freely, freedom is an important factor for me. I’ve realised on this Earth, that freedom is something we all lose through having to fit in and work our way around societies structures. Often, I create music without writing much down and letting the vocals take form over the melodies of the instrumentation. LORD PROTECT ME FROM MY SINS was never a written song, one of those instances where the music took shape through feelings and thoughts. Be Free, Be Love, Become your favourite and best self.
