Born in the first quarter of 1990 Dupree Jefferson "Dice Balboa" was raised in the Northern Parts of Sacramento California. He came up watching his Father play guitar and sing with his friends. Dice has always had an extensive ear for music coming up listening to golden oldies, R&b and of course Hip-hop Some influences Balboa cites Dj Quik, The Jacka, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Tupac, Kayne West to say the least. July 4th, 2003 was the day he was inspired to start writing music of his own his own and has never lost the love for it since. Dice considers music a form of therapy states it has gotten him through his darkest times in life. He learned at a young age music would save him from a lot of the day to day struggles and situations he had to witness. Instead of indulging in the wrong activities he put his focus into his music.
