agathakaspar.com Born and raised in Canada, Agatha's first venture into music was at an early age through learning classical piano repertoire. Whether it was skipping home from school to James Horner’s theme to Casper, or air conducting Yoko Kanno’s lush Escaflowne soundtrack, many tiny seeds were planted that ultimately grew into an eclectic career in film music and concert writing. Agatha’s film scores have played at many festivals including Cannes, Tribeca, Slamdance, the Los Angeles Film Festival, and the Toronto International Film Festival. Her film credits include Kodachrome (a Netflix film starring Ed Harris, Jason Sudeikis and Elizabeth Olsen), The Ugly Chickens (produced by George R.R. Martin), Copenhagen (winner of the Audience Award at the 2014 Slamdance Film Festival), Obama Revealed (CNN), Marisol (HBO), and The Long Weekend (TVO). Agatha has recently provided music for television shows including an original score for the dramedy series Moonshine (CBC/The CW), original songs and title music for Ginny & Georgia (Netflix), title music for Stuff The British Stole (ABC/CBC), and original music for the documentary series An Optimist's Guide to the Planet (Bloomberg Originals) hosted by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Her debut album 'seavoda', for piano and string orchestra, is now available on all streaming platforms. Photography by Benjamin Lappalainen.
