NuSoul the Poet is an unsigned rapper/songwriter based in Beaumont, Texas. He’s been active since 2012, and released his first EP, entitled “Sapio” (stylized and shortened for “sapiosexual”) on December 1st, 2018. The following year, NuSoul began recording and releasing music featuring his short lived first band “Generation X”. Their singles included Miss Universe (2020), The Campaign (2020), Hey DJ (2020), We Like 2 Party (2020), I Just Can’t Say Goodbye (2021), & The Other Side of the Sheets (2021). The group disbanded in early 2021, shortly after the release of The Other Side of the Sheets, and later that year, NuSoul the Poet began work on his first full-length project, “Formidable,” released March 25th, 2022. NuSoul began making appearances, performing music from this album alongside fellow PVEG (Positive Vibes Entertainment Group) rap supergroup 2Throwed Mindz, as well as previous releases all throughout 2022. He formed his new band “Blacque Koffee” in the summer of 2022, and the band debuted at The Jefferson Theatre in Beaumont, Tx, November 17th, 2022. The members of Blacque Koffee include; Terry Jones-Keyboards, SniperGeneral Joe-Drums/Percussion, Lazarus Blvck-Bass, Julian Breaux-Guitar, & with PVEG leader iamso3D as acting DJ.
