JJ Barrado aka Maydenfield is a Tokyo-based British-Spanish electronic producer, who has released a stream of melodic bass and house singles with singers and DJs including KINO, XAI and Yamato. Inspired by his Japanese surroundings, he produces melodic bass, future bass and house infused tracks. A deep melodic sentimentality and longing runs right through all of his music, and his imagery is strongly influenced by Japanese architecture, culture, anime and lifestyle. He has produced tracks in various electronic, rock and orchestral genres for artists in Japan, and written and produced lyrics and melodies for major artists including Tetsuya Komuro, Tommy February6 and The gazettE in Japan. He wrote and produced the soundtrack to Japanese TV Anime "Rusted Armors," and the TOHO Studios movie "Startup Girls." Maydenfield has close to 100 TV and movie syncs. He has also remixed major artists including Fall Out Boy, Justin Bieber and Gotch (Asian Kung-fu Generation). As solo support musician, JJ played and toured with major Japanese and international artists including Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, Leona Lewis, Backstreet Boys, TLC, Tetsuya Komuro, The Brilliant Green, Koda Kumi and Tommy February6.
