Detroit born rapper, producer, singer and songwriter JayFuol is a unique talent. With musical influences including E40, Tech N9ne, Twista and Pimp C, JayFuol’s sound is very diverse. JayFuol began rapping in middle school with friends before being noticed by the school janitor who owned a beat machine. “Me and my homie Sean (TsefiNam) would skip lunch and freestyle in the locker room to the beats the janitor made on his beat machine. He taught us how to count bars and structure songs.” In high school JayFuol would garner the attention of teachers and students with his speedy raps and unorthodox cadences in the hallways. He released his first album with his long time friend and rap partner TsefiNam in 2003. That music is not available on streaming services anywhere unfortunately. Since 2006 JayFuol has had an on and off presence in the underground music scene. With almost 20 yrs making music only time will tell if he will reach the masses or continue to be an underground legend in his own lane.
