DEVON MILES is a self-taught NIGERIAN multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer and singer/songwriter motivated by a burning inner desire to share/communicate LIGHT, LOVE and TRUTH through music. He started this journey in his childhood church and after years of experience (at 16 years of age, he opened his first music recording studio together with his older brother and two cousins) working and/or collaborating with many national and international artistes, bands (some still currently active) and theatre troupes, welcomes you to his WORLD. The DEVON MILES PROJECT is not just a musical journey but a SPIRITUAL experience, being born out of INTENSE spiritual encounters and the re-discovery and complete acceptance (as part of the divine) of his Nigerian/African ROOTS. Featuring a plethora of ORIGINAL songs, a mix of Afrobeat, Soul, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Pop, sung in languages like English, Nigerian Pidgin, Patua, Uhrobo (his native language from the Niger-Delta area of Nigeria), French and TONGUES (pure Spiritual Language), he transports the listener into a dimension where words, melody, rhythm, light, spirit, soul and body intertwine in perfect harmony. Music is Spiritual”, says Devon, “capable of shifting the listener to limitless dimensions above and beyond physical boundaries. It is my wish that through my music, people can discover, rediscover, correct or strengthen their spirituality because therein lies the answer to our consistent and continuous search for balance”.
