Born on the French Atlantic coast, Marie spent her early years staring at the ocean, headphones on, slowly growing into the artist Grand Bleu. As a queer teenager, she struggled finding a sense of belonging. Luckily, the family she imagined for herself had her back : contemporary bold artists such as Robyn, Goldfrapp and a few drag queens. Their CDs were covering her shelfs and their songs were feeding her dreams. She now wishes to be a part of the very culture that turned her into who she is. From the DJ booth, her rainbow flavored electronic pop takes us to a parade where the vibrant sun would meet ocean depths. On stage, her remarkable presence and her exulting passion make her very hard to forget. Grand Bleu hopes to be a voice for the women of her community, considering that lesbian representation in the media landscape is yet to be improved. With great sincerity and sensitiveness, Grand Bleu is opening her world to you. Her debut EP is coming early 2023 at Helix Records, US new label made by Patrick Moxey (founder of Ultra Records).
