Born and raised in the Capitol City of California, Gasser is a young rapper who was well known in Sacramento at the age of 11. Known as Lil PK, the young poet would go on stage and recite lyrics inspiring other youth to stay on the right path. As he has grown many things have changed, unafraid to use the full extent of his vocabulary, Gassers 2020 Album Titled Anthology, is as the title suggests. The collective works since his 10 year absence, and a window into the mind of a mixed raced, straight edge, Lyrical MacGyver. As seen in the past, Gasser has a fondness for double meanings. His name has two points of origin, both relating to his style and his sense of self-awareness. A Gasser by definition is a car made between the 50s and 60s adjusted and modified for illegal street racing, Gasser relates this to himself threw his choice of flow and delivery where he maintains a mellow style paired with fast paced cadences. The second origin sprouts from childhood, and a comedy show known as Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. A character in the English version of the show named “Gasser” was originally named Heppokomaru which in Japanese Loosely translates to “Untrained”. Gasser most likely found this both humorous and relatable being that before November of 2019 Gasser had never before produced any of his own records and proceeded to do so with no one to assist him. Unmistakably from California, Gasser lays his cards on the table with no fear of rejection and it’s reflected in his music.
