Lars H.U.G. is a Danish singer and songwriter, widely regarded as one of the most innovative and versatile musicians to emerge from Denmark. Born Lars Haagensen in 1953, he began his music career in the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the New Wave Rock Band Kliché, before venturing into a successful solo career in the 1980s. Throughout his career, Lars H.U.G. has explored a wide range of musical genres, from rock and pop to jazz and electronica.
