Hailing from the Northside of Jacksonville, Florida, Boyband is a genre-bending artist who seamlessly blends rap production, emo and alternative songwriting, melodic pop hooks, and a heavy stylistic influence from anime. As a rapper, singer, producer, and musician, Boyband takes a limitless approach to his music, creating a unique sound that defies categorization. The range goes even further into alternative music with his recent viral success of but it's goth, a project that started out as remixes of popular rap songs over goth/post-punk instrumentals. In addition to his impressive musical talent, Boyband is also a Grammy-nominated producer with platinum records under his belt. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Lil Nas X, Young Thug, Gunna and Juice WRLD, among others. Boyband was also formerly a part of the Internet Money collective, a group of producers and artists known for their work in the hip-hop and trap music scenes. Recently, Boyband has been expanding his musical repertoire and doing several shows as a DJ rather than just the artist we expect.
