GuIRIE is an Italian producer, born and raised in Matera and based in Rome, active since 2009, the year he founded the production team Frisco Records. This project runs parallel to Frisco Sound, a crew that has been energizing the Roman Reggae/Dancehall scene since 2004 with successful events and parties. GuIRIE's journey began with the release of his first two riddims, "Colors Riddim" and "Wanted Riddim," pressed on 7-inch vinyl in Jamaica, collaborating with some of the leading emerging Italian artists. Subsequently, he released several riddims and worked with internationally renowned artists such as Million Stylez and Richie Loop, solidifying his presence in the music scene. In 2018, GuIRIE collaborated with Attila on the album "Smiles & Troubles" producing four tracks including the title track. In 2020, he almost entirely contributed to the production of the debut album "Onde" by the Roman artist Sealow. In 2022, he returned to collaborate with Attila to create the project "Caribbean Session," a collection of freestyles made during the Salento artist's trip to Jamaica, producing all the tracks. GuIRIE's artistic evolution has led him to work closely with some of the most prolific artists in the Italian music scene, establishing himself as one of the reference points in the Italian Reggae/Dancehall scene.
