Kid Nix was an athlete first, all the way through his senior year of high-school he participated in basketball, football, and track. Football, however, was where he excelled. He was a member of the USA Football team in 2017, and named captain of his high-school football team as well. Going into his final year of high-school, it was clear to him that athletics were in his future. 
 Despite obtaining an invitation to continue his athletic career in college, Kid Nix was compelled to dive further into his infatuation with music. He began to learn more about the songs that drove him on the football field, and eventually experimented with the creation of music on his own. Using free apps on his phone, he released a few singles on Soundcloud. That curiosity then developed into a genuine interest, and he began recording at a professional studio. After a few months, music became his number one priority. 
 Since then, Kid Nix has released numerous singles, multiple mixtapes, and performed at shows in and around Boston. He’s carved out a niche unique to him as an artist, blending the genres of pop and hip-hop together. He has also become a successful engineer mixing countless songs for different up and coming artists. The content of Kid Nix’s music includes his own personal experiences with love, his view on the mentality the area he grew up in forced him to accept, and the hunger he has to prove those who question his decision to pursue music as a career wrong.
