Nathanyel William Mead is a hip-hop artist who goes by the stage name of 'N8 the Gr8'. Nate started his career in music after he moved from Fort Scott to Lenexa, Kansas after graduating from high school. He started his music career releasing his music on Soundcloud, but his first noteworthy single, Almost 2 Late. garnered over 3,000 plays which spurred Nate to start dropping his music on Spotify and Apple as well. He worked with (the then undiscovered and unsigned) New Zealand EDM artist Elipsa on his song "Runaway" after finding her first two singles she had ever publicly released (Wish I Knew and The One Drug) on a thread from the popular r/makinghiphop subreddit on Reddit. Nate gets his musical influence from a variety of artists such as Chance the Rapper, Saba, Rexx Life Raj, Noname, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, KYLE, Big Sean, Drake, Eminem, Smino, 6LACK, as well as countless others.
