Created in 2007 by Laurent and Rémi Durupt, LINKS is a piano / percussion duet which aims to create original and innovative musical works. Inspired by Kontakte of K. Stockhausen, they wish to share their repertoire as widely as possible in order to encourage the creation of new compositions. As an ensemble - within which musical associations are constantly changing and renewing themselves - LINKS brings together musicians committed to creating, improvising and composing, and visual artists: photographers, directors, scenographers - all driven and bound by a passion for art in all its forms. The objective is to offer the audience concerts that vary in shapes (slide shows, performances, installations), thus reflecting the eclecticism of LINKS’ members, as well as their desire to recreate and reinvent the link between the many dimensions of performing arts, video, dance, circus or photography. This original approach has led them to work on 20th century's iconic musical pieces (Reich, Stockhausen, Ferrari, Xenakis) but also on contemporary compositions (Sakai, Rumbau, Durupt, Bedrossian, Ricks, Rotella, Rivas, Rozales Fernandes, Rodrigo, Playe, Markeas).
