Leif Kendruis Smith, professionally known as Lil Poke was raised on the westside of Montgomery, Alabama in the hood of Smiley Court. Born March 21, 2001 Lil Poke has always had a love for music and started taking rap serious in January of 2021 while being in the army with the release of his first single “Rough Ryder” on all platforms. Studying & getting influence from rappers such as NBA Youngboy, Rod Wave & many more artists Poke began perfecting his craft and sound in a unique way. His melodic flows and southern style of rap can range from one style to another labeling him versatile. Through the very short amount of time through his career Lil Poke has released many singles leading up to his debut mixtape “Rookie of the Year” and one month after that his debut Ep “Block Babii”. As of 2023 since taking music full on Lil Poke has released a couple of singles and his latest Ep “Cote Baby Blues” and has a lot more in store for the future. Lil Poke says he wants a long career in the music industry and he feels the only way he can do that is to just be himself and make real music.
