Hailing from Seattle, WA, solo artist Another Magic (aka Thomas Arndt) mixes acoustic bass with found-object drumming and layers of sung harmonies to create a rich, wild textural landscape of sound. Folksy alt-pop with elements of punk and grunge, the songs swirl with anticipation, loss, and the invitation to learn and grow from reconnecting with one's body and intuition. With a background in Brazilian Carnaval drumming, Another Magic blends pulsing rhythms with field recordings and eroded midi synths. The self-released debut album SUNUNDERWATER/UNDERWATERSUN was released July 17th, 2020.
