Since2008 thrives on creativity and the effects that music has on people. After dropping his 2018 debut album, I Love You. and connecting with new supporters all around the world, the Cleveland, Ohio native wants to embark a fresh start! 
 Drowning the Sun, his latest release, reflects on the past 4 years of his life and how he dealt with every situation put in front of him. With him starting the album off with the heavy lyrics but motivating track, Take Chances, you can get a sense of where the album will progress to. Although Since2008 hasn't dropped an album since 2018, Drowning the Sun still became highly anticipated. The album features artists such as Ezri, Gio Genesis, Orisa, Tyjhier, Zé Emari & Therealpolaris. From the first to last track, you can feel the album shift as if it was night and day. ‘08 was bound to create music coming from a family of musicians. The artist/producer began his journey of creating music during a family gathering at his grandmothers house in 2008, which hints to his choice of stage name. While releasing music to his classmates and creating supporters within his community, he created his 2012 release, Calm N Cozy, which led to the creation of the label, Calm N Cozy. With collaborating with his brother, Nick Samps and cousin, Jordan Graham, they were able to create a different experience for each listener.
