Biography

Chinese-American entrepreneur, producer, and rapper Emcee T (born Shaun Tai) took the Northern California hip-hop scene by storm with Pushin’ The Bay TV. With a unique lens and perspective, he filmed and produced hundreds of original videos that have generated over 30-million video views - cementing Emcee T as one of the Bay Area’s most successful media moguls. Musically, he has worked with Bay legends Rappin' 4-Tay, Ray Luv, and Mac Mall. Emcee T also worked with Calvin Miller, the producer of (the late) Baby Huey's chart-topping "Pop, Lock & Drop It" (which received 75,000+ BDS radio spins) on a song called "We Shine." Emcee T is featured on Chamillionaire’s Mixtape Messiah 4 (2008) - Disc 1, Bay Area Skit (Feat. Guce & Emcee T). In 2009, he was the "#1 - Most Viewed (All Time) - Musicians - Taiwan" (YouTube "EmceeTStaff", 2009) - with video views exceeding 50-million. Currently, Emcee T resides in Oakland, California and runs a tech-for-good startup and nonprofit organization, BRIDGEGOOD, that empowers under resourced young people to flourish through creativity.
