Like an Eastern European version of Brazilian psych-rock legends Os Mutantes, Croatia's Pridjevi specialize in kitchen-sink experimental retro-pop with elements of Baroque pop, Tropicalia, acid rock, and psych-blasted worldbeat. Formed on a lark by a trio of talented and versatile Croatian songwriters in Dino Santaleza, Ivana Picek, and Nina Romić, the group began as a home-recording project with all three members trading ideas via e-mail. The results of those sessions, which would ultimately form the bulk of Pridjevi's debut album, were first released via Bandcamp in 2014.
