Bigg Taj always had a love for music, his father used to teach him tradition sikh music , this is where he got his passion for music from. As a youngster he was always making sounds and noises, he eventually put these sounds together and developed his own beatbox sound. Bigg Taj has battled in the Uk beatbox championships in 2005, 2009 and 2015 each time reaching the top 8 in the Uk. Bigg Taj has done numerous gigs around the world and has supported a number of big name hip hop legends along side his partner in crime Spee Six Nine A beatbox and rap duo Bigg Taj vs Spee Six nine (can be known as verses or Camera thief) have supported a number of hip hop legends like Method man & redman , The GZA, Immortal technique, Dead Prez, Grandmaster Flash and many many more. Bigg Taj has been making boom bap/lofi beats for a decade, most of the time you would hear Spee Six nine on the tracks but recently Bigg Taj has been releasing more instrumentals and will continue to do so. Bigg Taj is also known for delving into some TV work, most notable would be his feature on Coronation street (2019) where he played a character called "appliance boy" in an episode which was about a talent show in the rovers inn. Bigg Taj was also heavily featured in the Scottish comedy show called THE STATE (2018/2019) VERSES (bigg taj vs spee sixnine) were also participants on a one off acapella competition called SING - Ultimate acapella on SKY ONE (2017) For all social media use the handle @biggtaj
