POLY POLY are earth based producers, multi-instrumentalists and songwriters Jona "Volt Age" Raischl and Hans "Hans Hu$tle" Heusterberg. Together, they forge their very own version of modern soul, jazz, funk and beat music. Equipped with vintage synthesizers, forward thinking production techniques and a unique sonic identity, they are searching galaxies far and wide for superb grooves, unconventional arrangements and the perfect balance between thoughtfulness and funny shit. In 2022, they followed their dream and built their own studio in Leipzig, not only to further pursue and sharpen their sonic vision, but also to create a space for cooperation and community. This resulted in regular collaborations with up and coming drummer Benedikt Weiß, Milliarden´s guitarist , Hamburg based pop/soul singer Binta, jazz saxophonist Roman Fritsch, Leipzig´s acclaimed newcomer Alehlokapi or progressive hip hop artist grasime, just to name a few. Inspired by this self-made melting pot and the power of DIY, POLY POLY is now set and ready to release their freshly cooked up bangers to the public, revealing a first preview of what’s to come with their recently published remix for the Ferge X Fisherman tune „Pace“: A powerful hip hop/soul song with jazzy horn lines, signature synthesizer sounds and a contagious drum groove. The remix enthused fans as well as critics and curators of streaming platforms, gaining a placement in the highly regarded “Fresh Finds: Jazz” playlist on Spotify.
