Biography

Vincent Bucher , born in 62 , fell under the spell of the blues and started playing harp at 17, he became musically tutored by the great Sugar Blue who was the first to give him a chance to perform on stage . After having played and busked in the streets and the metro station of Paris , he integrated the circuit of clubs and concerts , playing with local bands and also with blues legends such as Louisiana Red , Eddie Campbell , Sonny Rhodes etc. Frequent trips to the USA brought him to collaborate with many Blues artists mainly in Chicago : touring with Carlos Johnson , Little Smokey Smothers , collaborating on the Lurrie Bell's " let's talk about love " album's production . Meanwhile Vincent , interested by the links between the blues and different african music forms , took many trips to Africa , touring and recording with Malian legend Boubacar Traoré , Donny Elwood from Cameroon , Tao Ravao from Madagascar etc … He also recorded with the grammy nominated band Heritage Blues Orchestra . During all these years along with all these projects Vincent has kept fronting his own band , performing in clubs and festivals , playing blues influenced originals along with " personalized " blues covers ." Hometown" is the reflection of Vincent's musical experience and love for the music .
