Malaysian-born electronic music producer, composer and songwriter Darence his began releasing when he was 19 in 2019 and made his debut with a single “Where We Started” in January 2019. 
 Due to his fascination for electronic music and retro rock/pop music, his compositions incorporate classic organic instruments with modern electronic elements. Though he is most known for his emotional and catchy electronic dance music, he's also produced several other styles of music like pop, indie dance and ambient electronic music. He writes and produces most of his music on his own. 
 Without any knowledge in music, Darence started playing drums in bands during high school. Upon graduating, he couldn’t stop immersing himself in music production, eventually moving to Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, at the age of 17 to pursue his study and career in music. After receiving a slow but warm welcome to his debut self-written single released in early 2019, he began to focus solely on producing his original material. He later went on and released numerous singles with various artists from different countries in a year before he released his first album "I Remember" in 2020. Besides his career as an independent music artist, he also produces film soundtracks and instrumental materials for companies and other artists. As the future unfolds, there's no doubt that his desire and aspiration to inspire others through his music will only drive him to keep improving.
