One of the most sought-after live mix DJs in the country at the moment, Bass-queen DJ Doowap is Khetsiwe Morgan; a British-South African Academy of Sound Engineering graduate, stylist, hair artist and live mix DJ dabbling in Hip Hop, Trap, Grime and Gqom. Post relocating to South Africa in 2012 after studying sound engineering abroad for four years, her love for bass-driven music emerged while spending time in the underground music scene, clubs, and various music studios. An interest in TV presenting saw her host a show called TasteMaker Series on national channel SABC 1, style reporting for Superbalist and hosting a radio show called Basspiration on R1WRadio which followed her hit shows on YFM and Berlin Community Radio.
