Born Alex Lakatos in 1977 (Schlieren, Switzerland). In the year 1984 his mother played him Grandmaster Flash on a tape deck. He was immediately drawn into rap and gradually discovered hip hop culture in the early 80's. Growing up with rap, soul, funk, jazz and rock, he became very open to all genres of music. But it was mainly in rap that he found security, protection and strength during hard times. This has remained the case to this day. Lex Laka's very first own release on Spotify is Zürisek. The rap duo (with rapper Masa Eda) is expected to release their debut EP "35 Liters - Alles Müll" in autumn 2023 (recorded at Zaïd's homestudio, beats by Jazzquarterz and Memfis and cuts and scratches by Slick Pip). Before Zürisek he had guest appearances on SmackWTG and KRYSL releases.
