Formed in Lawrence, Kansas in 2001, DJNOTADJ formed a blueprint of live instrumentation for a new movement. Fusing elements of House, Downtempo, Funk, IDM, Hip Hop, Jungle + Drum & Bass, DJNOTADJ quickly garnered a following in the midwest as one of its premier live acts. In 2003, They released a first of its kind studio album for the region, the live electronic cult classic "Deep Roots In Shallow Ground", quickly selling out the original CD pressing. For their 20th anniversary, DJNOTADJ asked Royce Diamond to remaster the original files for digital and for a limited edition Double Vinyl LP releasing March 2023. The band enjoyed hundreds of live shows during the golden era from 2001-2005, sharing the stages with the vibrant Lawrence, KS hiphop and experimental beats scene plus national acts like Soulive, The New Deal, Particle, The Roots, Money Mark, Woven, John Browns Body, The Get Up Kids, Karl Denson, Lake Trout, and countless others. In 2005, DJNOTADJ stopped making music as a band but continue to be best friends and brothers to this day. DJNOTADJ is David Jerett Fulton, Nate Holt, Bob Little and Dash Williamson.
