Over the last thirteen years, DJ Phil has evolved from a protege and student of the late DJ Rashad to one of the most ambitious core members of Chicago's Teklife collective. While he contributed to many iconic releases like 'Double Cup' and produced iconic remixes for Machinedrum or Scratcha DVA, DJ PHIL did not release a lot of solo projects outside of rare EPs for Nightslugs or Ghettophiles + appearances on MOVELTRAXX' Street Bangers Factory compilations.
