Fortune was born and raised in Germany. He moved to Florida at the age of 7 with his single mother. ​ Fortune grew up a single child and spent majority of his time getting into trouble and kicked out of High schools. With no father figure in his life, Fortune had no one to follow. ​ Until he met Jesus, who was the perfect father figure for him. He has a prime influence on Zenwi's music. Zenwi owes it all to him. Zenwi believes that music influences people majorly. He decided to create positive music that taught meaningful lessons. He believes that through his music he can influence a generation for the better. Through his music he wants to be a light to others so they know that whatever they are going through, they are not alone. Positive music can also boost mental health. Zenwi is big on mental health, he believes with a few changes in people's lifestyles (things they listen to, things they watch, things they eat) they can majorly improve their mental health. With Zenwi's music, everyone learns a lesson and feels positive. ​
