Niso Tozzi aka Ni_so is a producer, drummer, DJ and radio speaker from Fano (IT). Living and breathing off of music in all its manifestations, he has always been passionate about African American and Afro culture in a broad sense, from funk, hip hop, and jazz to afrobeat, afro disco, world music, house and much more. Drummer since the age of 9, DJ since his early 20s, he began his journey as a producer and beatmaker in 2019 and has since counted a series of musical releases. His 360-degree approach to production combines the use of samplers (MPC, SP-404) with that of synthesizers and keyboards, as well as recorded instruments, drawing on the many genres that have influenced his musical experience as a listener and performer. As DJ, his selections range from funk in all its derivations to disco, from afrobeat and afro disco to soul, from hip hop & beats to house and broken beat. Heavy vinyl digger, there isn’t a time where he doesn’t bring his full energy and love to the turntables, turning dancefloors upside down.
