圧倒的なRAPスキルのみならず、卓越したボーカル&ダンス＆トラックメイキングスキルを武器にエンターテインメント性溢れるコンテンツをセルフプロデュースで創り上げる傍ら、マネジメント/レーベル「BMSG」でのCEO業、アーティストプロデュースを手掛ける等、八面六臂の活躍をする日本の音楽シーンの新たな可能性を示すアーティスト。 2005年AAAのメンバーとしてデビューし、同時期からソロ名義「SKY-HI」として都内クラブ等でマイクを握り活動を始めHIP HOPシーンでのプロップスを得る。 2013年にメジャーデビューし、これまでに5枚のオリジナルアルバムをリリース。 2020年には、マネジメント/レーベル「BMSG」を立ち上げ代表取締役CEOに就任。同年ボーイズグループオーディション「THE FIRST」を主催し、翌年には自身がプロデュースを手掛けるボーイズグループBE:FIRSTを輩出。 SKY-HI reveals the potentiality of the Japanese music industry. His versatility comes through as the CEO of the management/label “BMSG” and as a producer. He also continues to create entertaining music: manipulating outstanding vocal skills, dance, and producing beats and tracks, not to mention his irresistible rap ability. Mitsuhiro Hidaka (SKY-HI) made his debut as a member of AAA in 2005 while he simultaneously started his solo career under the artist name “SKY-HI.” His appearances and performances as SKY-HI first took place in the underground scene in clubs and other venues in Tokyo, where he gradually achieved recognition and credibility in the hip-hop world. SKY-HI debuted on a major label in 2013 and has released five solo albums thus far. He established the management/label company “BMSG” in 2020, taking the role of its CEO. He also created a boy band audition program, “THE FIRST” the same year, which resulted in BE:FIRST. SKY-HI presented BE:FIRST to J-pop in 2021.
