Veteran producer 86 Crush knows no bounds when it comes to producing music. From nostalgic analogue synthesizers to organic instruments his sound spans the generations with a hybrid approach to creating music on a computer. “I’ve always been fascinated by the timbre and grittiness of so many sounds and instantly thought, how could this be musical?” From 1986 through 1992 represented a time that would really shape the foundations of his love for music, whether it be posters on a wall or standing in line for hours, hoping to buy a copy of his favorite CD just to read the album art. “There was a lot of magic unlocked in that album booklet, it gave you the keys to the universe.” Upon exploring music, he discovered that his tastes were very diverse, from Michael Jackson to George Michael, to Nine Inch Nails. All of these artists’ productions had a common denominator.
