At the young age of five, AX.EL (Axel Hejlsberg) picked up the guitar. Originally composing and performing instrumental pieces, Axel quickly discovered his knack for arrangement. Over the course of his middle and high school experience, he picked up Ukulele and Bass Guitar and soon thereafter learned how to produce his own tracks. His earlier music reflected his love for the electronic scene, and as he progressed he began to fuse Future Bass elements, Jazz, and Rock guitar to create a blend of rhythmic and melodic elements which when combined with his voice reflect his current style. Studying Songwriting and Contemporary Composition at New York University, AX.EL plans to continue on his path to deliver that laid-back dance-infused style of electronic music that will make anyone's head bob.
