Born “Dwayne Newkirk” in 1983 in the south bronx the young NYC native grew up in the mecca of hip hop. Block parties and jams is where he got his start, jumping on the mic at age 8 and showing off his poetry was the foundation to what we see and hear today. Idolizing hip hop’s earlier legends like KRS One, Cool G Rap, and Big Daddy Kane Young Fase began his journey as an MC. In 2002 Young Fase was heard on Ghostown Record’s mixtape entitled “Ghetto 2 Ghetto” and was also featured on the labels album a year later entitled “Ghetto 2 Ghetto pt. 2” in which he quickly gain notoriety. 
 Young Fase has released a full length self produced mix tape entitled “Public Service” and 2 new singles entitled “Impossible” and “Make it Count” which can be heard on all platforms. Young Fase is set to release a collaboration album with rapper King Cure entitled “Never Ran On The Plug” which is rumored to be a hip hop classic produced by Belgium’s own Nyckles The Producer. The rapper is also working on his second solo project set to be released at the ladder of the year. 
 Young Fase is quickly becoming a house hold name. Not not only known for his music capabilities, Young Fase has been behind the scenes as well working with numerous artist engineering and producing dope new sounds. Young Fase is a swiss army knife in this industry theres no limit to his success and he is definitely a rising star.
