The journey began 1976 in a school Band. 1982 he formed the hard rock band STONEFIELD releasing the albums THE EYES OFTHE DAWN & LIGHT OF LIES. Throughout the next decade, Rodriguez worked on a number of projects such as Vicious Delicious and Quasimodo. He also worked as sidemen, performing with Sarah Brightman, Marc Storace, Sherpa, Il Divo to name a few. 2002 he released his first solo album CATCH THE LIGHT. 2006 the album RODRIGUEZ&WILDERS WORLD AWAY was released. In 2013 ANANDA came into light, an instrumental collection of music suited to yoga and meditation. RODRIGUEZ 5340 was released in 2017 recorded all over the world with world-class musicians. 2019 he released 7 again working with exceptional musicians such as Richard Cousins, Tony Braunagel and Hammond virtuoso Lachy Doley. 2019 he remixed a collection of STONEFIELD Songs shining a new Light on this work 30 years later releasing the album MYSTIC STORIES. In 2020 he released RODRIGUEZ ACOUSTICAL JOURNEY a collection of instrumentals performed with acoustic Guitars. In 2022 he released ATLANTIS, a Rock Concept Album with Simon Phillips on Drums and Singer Andy Wood on Lead-Vocals. Due to the success achieved in Spain and South America, Rodriguez decided to release a Spanish version of ATLANTIS in 2024. Female singer Kelly Lee Cottom re-recorded the vocals of all tracks in Spanish, giving the sound a new flavor.
