Olivier Libaux was a composer and guitarist who started his career in the 80’s with the neo-pop band Les Objets, followed by two poetic storytelling albums, L'héroïne au bain (2003), then Imbécile (2007). These albums included such artists as Philippe Katerine, Helena Noguerra and JP Nataf. Olivier Libaux is part of the band Nouvelle Vague with Marc Collin. Olivier released Uncovered Queens Of The Stone Age in 2013 , covering the huge american desert rock band. At the time of his sudden passing in September 2021, Olivier had just completed a project around the music he cared about the most and was the most inspired by, specifically the iconic electronic, rock, and post punk bands of the late 70's and 80's. Artists who included The Stranglers, Billy Idol, Kraftwerk, The Police, Talking Heads… For this final album, he collaborated with the singers Mélanie Pain, Élodie Frégé and Marion Grébert, and Raphaël Chassin, co-director of the album, on percussion.
