Blaine Tate was born and raised in Baytown, Tx just east of Houston. His love for music can go as far back as birth. His father ,Kevin Tate, drummer for rock group The Alison's signed a deal with Spindle top records in 1990. He began sitting in recording studios and practice rehearsals at a young age. He learned how to play the piano at age 8. Blaine started writing lyrics at age 12 venturing out into his love for a new genre, Rap. After graduating high school he immediately enrolled in Lee College where he got his Associates Degree in Applied Science for Audio Technology. Looking to start his career in the music industry Blaine caught the attention from one of Houston's legendary producers , Jaime “Pain” Ortiz. Jaime took Blaine under his wing as a mentor at Dope House Records. There he would go on to Engineer/Produce classic projects “Son of Norma”, “Dope City”, “Last Chair Violinist” & “Visionary” reaching Billboard Top 100 multiple times by age 24. Theres no doubt his positive lyrics can motivate us to aim for our own goals. Blaine believes that music has the ability to take us to a certain time, place, smell, and feel. When you can understand that you can truly appreciate the beauty of music.
