Vies is a Drum and Bass duo from England & Canada, formed in 2020. Made up of Dublic & Luk Peers, Vies walks several different subgenre boundary lines and choose to focus their attention on vocal-driven tracks with heavy oozing basslines. Dublics influences from Dancehall and Reggae and Luks, UK Garage, and Grime can be heard in each of their productions and DJ sets. The pair started producing together in 2019 and quickly had releases on VA albums for 'Ghetto Dub Recordings' and 'Lickwood and Gunshot'. After an acclaimed EP on 'Dutty Bass Audio' in 2020, they cemented their joint forces and put together Vies. In 2021 the two linked up with badman, DJ Monk owner of 'KLP Records' for a release with an Old Skool vibe and a Jungle Relick on the flip side. Their collaborative bootleg of 'Super Cat - Scalp Dem' with Redline was released on 'Liondub International' in '22 and made the Top 10 in the Hypeddit Drum & Bass Chart. Vies has releases on 'West Cove Recordings', 'Drum Lab Audio', 'El3m3nt 6ix', 'Big & Heavy Recordings', and 'Ghetto Dub Recordings' and are members of 'RunniT Productions' based in Calgary and the 'NABDNB Community' out of Edmonton.
