Dave-Eaux is an electronic music producer hailing from Galeshewe in Kimberley. He was raised in Alexandra, the small township in the heart of Johannesburg. Although his debut release was a Techno House production, he is predominantly a Deep House producer and has had a string of productions to affirm this. His debut solo release was a two-track EP on KZN-based label, Ababili Recordings, late in 2015 titled Solo Raindrops EP. The EP packed two dancefloor-driven Techno bangers, foreign to South African shores. It was this release, coupled with his debut feature on a Various Artists release on Audioarque Recordings, that painted the picture of a European-based artist amongst the ears of listeners. Dave-Eaux has since featured on several artists' releases with stellar remixing services. He's also lent his productions to local based labels such as AfroMove Music and KingSix Recordings, displaying his signature drum groove-driven lush style of production. Having focused purely on music production, Dave-Eaux has been slowly penetrating the world of deejaying, curating some of the finest sets by blending some of the finest cuts from within local shores and abroad. Dave-Eaux's latest release is out with Ababili Recordings titled Don't Trip EP; it features three very different tracks which seemingly all fall within the dark spectrum. A showcase of impeccable diversity in his production with three evidently different tracks that play on the same mood, at different energies and pace.
