T. Harlen is an American hip-hop artist who comes from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. 
 Born and raised in the life of music: “Ever since I was a kid, music has been a big part of my family. My dad has been part of a bunch of local bands as a drummer, so he was in the ‘music scene’ for a good bit. I remember going to some of his shows as a kid, and they were pretty cool. Even my siblings played instruments! I tried picking some things up, but none of them would stick. It wasn’t until I started listening to hip-hop and rap music that I got inspired to start making music myself. Now I’m making music pretty much everyday.” -T. Harlen 
 Stepping into the scene: “I think I first started rapping back when I was 14. I remember I was really bad at first and I would practice writing down random verses I would come up with and make some goofy freestyles with my buddies. My friends definitely inspired me as well. Some of them made music too, and we eventually formed a little group. Back then I wasn’t as serious about it. Not until I got a job and earned enough money to buy my own studio equipment and other things. That’s when I just started going ham and well, here I am.” -T. Harlen
