Biography

Tommy “3 Eyes” Hendrix III formerly known as “Tommy Drix” is a staple of Chicago Underground Hip Hop culture. He started off at the age of 15 performing in Humboldt Park, Chicago at a Youth Center he used to work out of as an Audio student. Shortly after he began hosting, and performing all across the Chicago land area. For years he immersed himself in the likes of the Hip Hop culture eventually starting a group with some friends and began throwing parties all through the west side of Chicago. But the fast pace life caught him good as he started dealing, and doing drugs getting arrested every month, and worse. The Hip Hop culture was put onto the back burner of his life for a good number of years until 2016 when he found out he was having his first daughter Leila Amari Hendrix. This was a life changer, as he still wasn’t completely out of the streets, he began to analyze what was most important to him. Within the span of 12 months he opened his first Recording Studio became a Meditation Instructor and An Ambassador for the Obama Foundation. At which point his name was changed to “3 Eyes” as a budding symbol of his own personal detachment from the life he used to live to the life he was planning to lead. Releasing nothing but solo and collaboration videos as singles with some of Chicago’s flyest underground talent has been the wave until 2019 as he prepares to release his first “Official” 5 track EP titled “When I Die” which releases in stores May 21st.
