Winfree is a songwriter, producer, and talkbox artist from Toledo, Ohio. He has collaborated with artists from all around the world. Winfree's big break came in 2002, when he wrote a song that was recorded by R&B Icon, Keith Sweat, titled, One on One (feat. Lola Troy & Lade Bac) for his Rebirth album. One On One was also featured on the soundtrack to the 2002 movie, "The Transporter." In recent years, Winfree has added to his list of collaborations. With the release of the album, Supernova, in 2020, Winfree invited rap artists, Tony Ray and Mane Course to perform on two tracks. The fifth song on the album, The Best was remixed by the ever popular Japanese soul/R&B/disco producer, T-Groove, from Tokyo. The remix was released in Europe on 7 inch vinyl through UK label Six Nine Records. Three music videos were released for the Supernova album. In 2021, Winfree released several singles. The first single, Tonight, featured rap artist, Mystikal. The second single, West Life, featured the smooth rap stylings from Domino. The third single, Bonnie & Clyde, featured vocals from R&B crooner, Methrone. With the success of the follow up track, Mamacita, dance music has become the current musical focus for Winfree. The latest release to date for 2022, is the dance track, Infrared Light, which leans toward the styles of EDM and house. This new release is accompanied by a music video as well. Winfree is geared to make music that will keep people dancing, feeling good, and having fun.
