Rich Ca$h is a Puerto Rican rapper from New York Born March 3rd 1983 in the south BRONX nY. His father was killed in the bronx at 12 and he grew up with a single parent home with his mother who was facing an addiction problem most of his childhood. From being in foster care and juvenile lockup through childhood it was then where he grew a love for music . It would be songs like dear mama and keep ya head up from 2pac that inspired him to do music. At first it was just a hobbie that grew into a passion . As an adult he went to jail for selling crack and it was during that time of incarceration that he vowed to take the music seriously he eventually self taught himself how to engineer and mix records . He would later go on to making music with Legendary platinum producer Al West whos credits include Nas, 2pac , 50 cent, r kelly ,jennifer Lopez , LL cool J just to name a few. Also being mentored by Smith Brothers Entertainment who he was introduced by his best friend and rap partner who was at just 19 he lost his last best friend in 2012 and is pretty much the sole survivor of his group . Growing up in Hempstead Ny their was an artist named A+ who eventually became his friend and mentor as well he was the first person to blow up from the neigborhood which gave him a sense of hope . He continues to work with his close knit team and create music .
