The debut EP „Redemption“ by TYRA is out on February 10th. After 6 years of releasing Single by Single, the 26 year old Singer-Songwriter from Luxembourg is finally releasing a collection of songs that all belong together to a certain period of her life.The songs go through many emotions that have been inspired by a relationship that turned out to be a toxic and shattering battlefield. As Tyra states: „Writing these Songs felt like therapy, to put everything you feel into words and slowly seeing how something beautiful can come out of so much pain. It felt incredibly liberating, that’s why the title „Redemption“ was perfect to find closure.“ Together with „Heavenly Way To Sin“ and „Dream Girl“, „Redemption“ pictures feelings of love, hate, desperation and grief. Tyra says: „I wrote all these songs in a very dark place where I felt incredibly lost in my life. That’s also why I wanted the whole Cover to reflect a certain darkness and vulnerability.“ TYRA also states: „I made a lot of mistakes in the past years and songs like „SOS“ really reflect that state of mind of feeling trapped inside your own little hell, not knowing how to get out of it by yourself“. The Singer- Songwriter hopes that people will find comfort in the songs, especially with one of her first ballads like „House of Glass“ which shows a very soft and fragile Tyra. „Redemption“ is finally here.
