However, his rise to fame began much earlier, in 2005, during his high school years. Back then, social media was limited to MySpace, yet AD POLO managed to gain widespread recognition with his hit single "Crank Dat Scooby Doo." The track was a massive success, garnering over 755,600 plays on YouTube by 2007, alongside another track that received over 600,000 plays. These achievements are all the more impressive considering the limited social media options available at the time. When asked about potential record deals, AD POLO revealed that he turned down two offers, stating that he wanted to be taken seriously as an artist, rather than being seen as a gimmick during the "Crank Dat" era.
